Historical Context
Put into circulation on 22 May 2023 to honor pioneers of Argentine medicine and public health. Cecilia Grierson was Argentina's first woman doctor; Ramon Carrillo, a neurosurgeon, was the first national Minister of Health. The Malbran Institute was founded in 1893.
Condition
[Est. AU] No folds; one diagonal crease at a back corner and faint handling otherwise. The paper is bright and crisp with sharp corners and clean edges. A few faint light-brown spots in the watermark panel on the back. No tears, holes or writing. Grade estimated from the scans; not professionally graded.
Legal Tender
Appears to remain legal tender: the BCRA lists it among circulating notes (May 2026) and said the November 2023 version would circulate alongside it.
